His eye is on .....

His eye is on the dog.
The one sitting in a backyard, starving,  
For food, water, or love.
Lonely and hopeful.

 

His eye is on the cat.
The one lost and alone.
The one that is scared of a touch,
Surviving however they can.

His eye is on all animals.
The scared, the scarred, the lonely.
The one's hurt by those that should love,
The one's no longer trusting.

He has His eye on them all.
Loving them like only God can.
Calling on us to help Him,
To help Him help them.

Our Lord has called us all,
To mend the broken wings.
To give a loving touch,
Where only harsh touches have been.

 

He call's us to love them,
To take care of them.
Protect them from harm.
Give them a good life.

His eye is on us all.
Watching to make sure we heed the call.
He watches over us all.
Loving us & them.

Matthew 10:29
